Lush Color Supplements Review

Since my skin is really sensitive and I do break out , out of the blue Im always hunting for new "natural" ways to cover my face ( makeup-wise ). My go to makeup is Mat Velvet+ from Makeup for Ever, which has amazing coverage its truly MAT ! but sometimes I just dont want to wear a full face of makeup, I just want something sheer yet with some coverage I've tried 100000's of tinted moisturizers and omg I look either like  a light bulb or my face breaks out onto a biziliion pimples.

So I've eyeing the Color Supplements from Lush Cosmetics , which you have prob. seen me rave about in the past , I was a little skeptical as far as the quality just because I thought Lush Cosmetics was more like a bath-face care store not really "makeup", but I was looking for info on it, doing my little CSI on the product and I found some good reviews and ok I gave in. 

The Color Supplements is basically a tint in a thick-cream formula that you can either use with a moisturizer or on its own, they only have 4 shades just because the product blends so good so either you get a shade up or down as long as you stay in your undertone range ( pink pr yellow ) you will be fine.

The product comes in a glass container with a plastic screw-cap( it may look tiny BUT  a LITTLE goes A LONG WAY ). Pricing I believe is fine $15.95 just for the fact that is a Lush Cosmetics product and usually I consider Lush a high-end brand not just for the prices but quality-wise as well.

Overall I like the product a lot , Im not in<3 with it yet , just for the fact that Im a "foundation kinda gal"

but the product works gr8.

Im in the shade "Dark Yellow" which may seem really dark in the pic. but it blends in amazing, I think Im going to order the Light Yellow just because were I live ( south TX ) we dont get suuuper cold weather until mid Nov. so my winter-paleness has not yet kicked in.

Lush Color Supplements

Once the color is evenly distributed it blends into the skin amazingly !! 

The color is amazing as far as undertone ( yellow ) some pricier products Ive tried have a really bad base for my undertone but this guy just got the perfect match 

As you can see in the pic the consistency of the product is creamy and thick and little tiny bit is good for the entire face for sheer coverage or build it up apply that amount and then an equal amount over it.

The actual bottle , I accidentally dropped the bottle and the cap broke , but theres nothing a little tape cant fix lol

PERFECT STARRY PINK !! :D

Revlon (( STARRY PINK )) is a glitter/mutli-size polish, it carries pink-silver micro glitter and chunky silver glitter. It gives your hands a very "sweet-girly" look.

The base for the polish is a pink'ish-lavender'ish tone , which comes out kinda-sorta "sheer" but 1 coat looks gr8. The product is buildable and fast drying, and the glitter glides on the nail nicely without giving you a hard time to apply.

I feel eventhou the color is really pretty it looks better on "lighter" skin tones or "light bronzed" skin tones, due to the fact that since the polish can be "buildable" for a "full coverage" look it can tend to look white & white makes the skin in your hands look a couple of shades darker or if thats the "look" you are aiming for then its the perfect color.

 I personally really enjoy the quality of the Revlon Nail polishes , they are almost all fast drying and they carry some "good dupes" for high end brands. They run from $3.50+ depending on where you purchase them , so I think you get more than what you pay for, which is ALWAYS good.

I got mine at "TARGET" they did not any sort of "special" display for them, they were just mixed with all the Revlon Nail Polish's.

I MET PEARL !!! "GIRL MEETS PEARL" BY BENEFIT

I was terrified of wearing any highlight or anything that give shininess to my face, but I hadnt realize that theres an  ocean of difference between "glow" and "grease" , this product is as well from my "vacay" series. The benefit sales gal , was amazing and so helpfull, so she asked me if I was using a highlight and my face was like -.- no ma'm I dont because I would look like a glowstick lol ! she laugh so hard and was no you wont let me show you. I was like "ok" but still thinking in my head " omg I know my skin its not going to look rite". She asked if I had seen or used or tested " Girl Meets Pear " I told I had seen it but never actually put it in my face. 

 So she kept going and on with her demo, using a foundation brush ( the flat one )

she applied some on my temples and on the top portion of my cheek bone on the bridge of my nose etc. she even went a little crazy and I think she put some all over lol ! 

She showed the finished result and voila !!! I looked amazing and literally said WHOA ! lol ! 

I did not look shiny, neither dewy or however you spell it , I just had a glow that looked so natural an amazing !! so I got it.

This is the product , glue stick kinda container , you twist and product comes out, CAREFUL a bit goes a long way, so dont get excited twisting :p

This product get an A+ totally for oily skin, eventhou its not specifically made for it, it works just fine, it does not make you like like a glowing stick , litebulb or else ! you look amazing with a healthy look, super natural ahhghgh jaw droppin, mouth drowling ! lol !

WALGREENS MINI HAUL : LIP PRODUCTS

Ok so I have mentioned b4 that I get attracted by stuff by the way they look on the outside ! 

so I was wondering around MY walgreens lol ! and I bumped into the cosmetics section lol not weird at all I could be dying and still go to the cosmetics-nail polish area 1st and this got my eye in a flashh 

HONESTLY thats the reason I got it :3, but it sooo ahh total eye candy <3

the shade was "pink lollipop" and the product claimed that if you used it , it would leave a sheer stain just like the ones lollipop leave behind once youre done with them :) so I thought it was sweet yet nice.

this is the actual product OMG !! isnt it lovely even to look at ! 

the color on the cap wouldnt be described better than " up in yo' face pink " :p

this is the color swatched  on my hand, as you can see its super super sheer it looks like a rash lol ! but it doesnt on your lips lol ! btw my hand is not that big and manly lol ! it always appears to be that way on cam. I personally think it does pull up all the " lollipop stain " BUT my lips are quite pigmented so the color doesnt show that much unless I go over and over and over lol, I guess Ill have to try another color or just look at it and 4get it sorta did not work for my lips.

omg ! I adore this lol ! Ill use it as a lip balm lol ! its really really moisturizing btw ! 

MOVING ON ...

I had also being wanting to try the Revlon Colorstay lip glosses, and I just fell in love with this color

the shade is Perennial Plum and I think it should be called PERFECT PLUM. 

this is the color swatched on my hand and I love love the color is a true fall color and they claim that the product lasts quite a while. Well it does and it hard to take off actually BUT it clumps IDK if it was because I applied to much product or else but it clumped on my lips , no one else could see it but I could feel it and its kinda uncomfortable. Yet I loved the color so I didnt mind at all lol ! :D

I recommend both products BUT if you have pigmented lips the color on the 1st product wont show up unless you really work the product several times on your lips.

And if youre not into dark vampy fall shades theres like 2 or 3 softer shades :D

PACIFICA BODY BUTTER

Touring my SEPHORA as usual , I bumped into this cutie called , PACIFICA COCONUT CRUSHED PEARL BODY BUTTER , and here is the story:

So mainly I got this body butter because of its scent and yes its smells pretty amazing. Just for the fact that its pretty hard for me to find a gr8 coconut scent that doesnt give me a headache, and let me tell you this one really impressed my nostrils lol :D.

Honestly I have never even stopped and looked at the PACIFICA booth inside my SEPHORA , not because its unatractive or so but I never make my way allll the waaaay to the back and it so happens that the PACIFICA section is in the last row of products and thee very end of the store. Which I personally think its unfair because the brand does carry some reaalllly yummy scents and really gr8 products. 

Packaging for the entire brand is quite original and very trendy they have that Indie-Boho-Chic vibe to their design with some pretty nice color combos , overall nice to the eye , and to thee nosie :D.

Going back to the actual product review, the consistency of the product its pretty thick and really moisturizing. A little goes a looong waaay , honestly you dont need a wholelot of product & last BUT not least it has a very pleasant scent and looots loots of shimmer and glow. For me its a like a dupe of BENEFIT's HIGH BEAM but in a body butter.

PRODUCT CLAIMS:

The product claims that it is a aluminizing body butter that gives shimmer and glow to the skin , infused with coconut oil , pearls and sea minerals.

I truly believe that the products embodies all its claims to a %100 !! I will recommend the product.

GOT SOME DIRTY LAUNDRY ?? HERE COME "DOWNY UNSTOPPABLES"

I ran out of detergent so I made my way to Walmart , and on the rim of the cap of my laundry detergent was a sample of DOWNY'S  UNSTOPPABLES , which basically they are some little pellets ( cut in half because they're not round ) of fabric softener just in a solid shape and they do the same as the liquid form.

The whole "Downy" thing is not mainly about the "softness" on the clothes, but the scent they leave behind. The liquid does make the clothing smell good but lets be honest the scents fades away while the clothes are hanging in your closet, its so not like the commercials well at least for me and if for you the clothes do smell and burst out flowers please let me know what you do lol :D.

The "UNSTOPPABLES" claim that since they're in the washer since the beginning and they spent more time with the clothes during the washing cycle , theyre suppose to adhere more to the clothes scentwise. In difference from the liquid that is suppose to the thrown in the washer at a certain point of if your washing machine has the compartments for the bleach and softener well they get release later on during the cycle in difference to the pellets that they go in with the clothes since the beginning BUT ! I believe that the pellets dissolve as well is the same thing. The clothes I felt they didnt smelled tremendously different , but slightly a little stronger not suuuper suuper strong that I feel I need to buy only pellets , besides I believe theyre a little over priced in comparison to the liquid which I feel lasts a little longer since you have more control over how much you place in each wash.

NAIL POLISH HAUL ( ULTA )

Ok so today my husband had training , meaning he was getting out earlier, than usual. Earlier meaning theres was gonna be sunlight and stores were going to be open, usually I shop online lol.
I told him remeber you said your were going to take me to ULTA, he makes an awkward face and says
"OH YEAH BABE" lol , I make my way straight to the ESSIE section and my plan was was catches your eye GET IT. So I got  ESSIE "LADY LIKE" truly amazing pink-mauve-purplelish color I love it. Then I moved on to the CHINA GLAZE and what made my head turn was "FAIRY DUST" I love the name could not been better, its like a rainbow-shimmer in silver ( thats what I perceived if it makes any sense ). Making my way to the register I bumped into ZOYA and was so undecided between "MARINA" and "CYNTHIA", so I asked my <3bug for his true opinion and he said that "MARINA" was super cool , so I went with it. At the register I saw OPI ( miss universe collection ) and I honestly DIDNOT like much BUUUUUUUUT !! one little guy stood out from the crowd was " ITS MY YEAR" omg its a total jawdropper.

A CANDLE: MORE THAN JUST A SCENT

A good candle can really set the mood to many things, a romantic night, a dark day and lighten someones path. Many candles come with a scent that can either give us a headache to really taste whats in the air, a candle has many sides to it than just a wick and wax.

Now NOT every candle can perform to its fullest it has to be a great candle something beyond good, you can always go to the store and go to the candle aisle and sniff all and there you go. Theres many more to that process than what we see.

I was not a candle fan until I bumped into this really good brand that I found on Youtube, the way people would get excited over it made me smell the candles tru the computer. I made my way into the website www.candlesbyvictoria.com and just as it opened it made me feel at home. Even the website has a cozy feeling to it , you can really feel the warmth and loved put into every wax pour. 

As I made my "cybertour" on the webstore I clicked the gadget " scents " OMG I was overwhelmed and  excited there are sooooo many LITERALLY HUNDREDS of scents to choose from THERES SOMETHING for EVERYONE. It took me weeks and some notebook paper to make my 1st order due to the fact that I wanted EVERY SINGLE scent in the book. 

I order myself some "tarts" to get a feel for the brand, and when the package arrived it was what I wanted and BEYOND it truly exceeded all my expectations, and was beyond happy. I cut'd my tarts into tiny pieces and made all kinds of mixtures. Now theres always a "tart in the oven" as I like to call when I have a "tart" melting. I mix the scents I get or just have a different one melting everyday ( thats why I cut mine into pieces ). They have such a saturated scent that immediately the surroundings of the candle start to smell amazing.

NAIL-FILES 101

Every woman likes well-manicured nails, but in "real life" theres many factors why women have MANY not so good nail days: work, not enough time, laudry, too many chores, kids etc....

Nice looking nails makes a real difference in ones hands, they look clean, younger and simply it gives thats little something to make an outfit pop. Beauty comes hand - hand with maaaaannny requirements : to always keep them looking nice, no chips on the nail polish have them looking EVEN, and the list goes on.

Its really nice once in a while to go and have your nails done , but honestly in the long run its really expensive. The "regular" mani ranges from $24+ escalating to the lower 100s. Just for a polish that lets be honest it doesn't matter how GREAT you take care of your nails but it WONT LAST for more than 2 weeks and Im going to an extreme with that guesstimate.

I personally recommend to invest your money in a good base coat , nail polish ,top coat and a good hand cream because the constant use of nail polish remover dries out skin really bad so protection is the key.  Yes the 1st you will spend around $50 but can give yourself A LOT of manicures not only 1 as if you go to the spa or salon.

If you're not that great and putting color on your nails the simple fact of having them even and polished makes a statement your give a really nice image on yourself. So I recommend a 4 sided nail file they are not expensive and have all you need to get you started in your way of great looking nails. Don't go immediately and buy the "sand paper" looking ones , they might be too harsh on your nails your have to take it slow and go step by step once you get a little practice and get to know your nails you can go ahead and get something that suits you the best. So grab your self a 4 sided nail file , follow the steps then put on a base coat and top it off with some clear nail polish trust me your hands will have an amazing glow for a fraction of the price on the long run.
