NARS splurge !!

Yesterday I took a makeup class with one of NARS makeup artist named "Raphiel" I believe at my local Sephora. He did an awesome job , I personally had never used or owned any NARS just fot the fact that it is quite pricy but Raphiel took us in depth to know the brand and its roots and it is so worth eah penny their products have some many natural mediums in them like chamomille , acai and gr8 technology in them as well.
After the class I wanted to take home with me the whole thing but I had to pull it together lol ! So my picks were the liquid Laguna bronzer ;) which I LOVE ! Copacabana highlighter multi ( stick form ) and a gift set that had a mini super orgasm blush , lipgloss and nail polish ;) here a some shots ! Enjoy

Lush Color Supplements Review

Since my skin is really sensitive and I do break out , out of the blue Im always hunting for new "natural" ways to cover my face ( makeup-wise ). My go to makeup is Mat Velvet+ from Makeup for Ever, which has amazing coverage its truly MAT ! but sometimes I just dont want to wear a full face of makeup, I just want something sheer yet with some coverage I've tried 100000's of tinted moisturizers and omg I look either like  a light bulb or my face breaks out onto a biziliion pimples.
So I've eyeing the Color Supplements from Lush Cosmetics , which you have prob. seen me rave about in the past , I was a little skeptical as far as the quality just because I thought Lush Cosmetics was more like a bath-face care store not really "makeup", but I was looking for info on it, doing my little CSI on the product and I found some good reviews and ok I gave in.
The Color Supplements is basically a tint in a thick-cream formula that you can either use with a moisturizer or on its own, they only have 4 shades just because the product blends so good so either you get a shade up or down as long as you stay in your undertone range ( pink pr yellow ) you will be fine.

The product comes in a glass container with a plastic screw-cap( it may look tiny BUT  a LITTLE goes A LONG WAY ). Pricing I believe is fine $15.95 just for the fact that is a Lush Cosmetics product and usually I consider Lush a high-end brand not just for the prices but quality-wise as well.
Overall I like the product a lot , Im not in<3 with it yet , just for the fact that Im a "foundation kinda gal"
but the product works gr8.

Im in the shade "Dark Yellow" which may seem really dark in the pic. but it blends in amazing, I think Im going to order the Light Yellow just because were I live ( south TX ) we dont get suuuper cold weather until mid Nov. so my winter-paleness has not yet kicked in.
Give the Color Supp. a try click the link below and scroll down and see the ingredients and more reviews.

Once the color is evenly distributed it blends into the skin amazingly !!
The color is amazing as far as undertone ( yellow ) some pricier products Ive tried have a really bad base for my undertone but this guy just got the perfect match
As you can see in the pic the consistency of the product is creamy and thick and little tiny bit is good for the entire face for sheer coverage or build it up apply that amount and then an equal amount over it.

The actual bottle , I accidentally dropped the bottle and the cap broke , but theres nothing a little tape cant fix lol

"I MET HIM IN PRISM"

Yesterday nite I was bored I confess and I needed to go to HEB and get "something" lol , as usual I walk around the cosmetic aisle lol , I saw the ORCHID Nail Lacquer.
They do have some interesting colors BUT the one that sparkled rite in my eye was this guy, without thinking twice I picked him up and headed my way home lol.
"I MET HIM IN PRISM" ft. Blue, Green, Purple glitter that react to the light :D
Orchid Nail Lacquer is made in the US, in San Antonio Tx.

I wanted to try on top on dark shades and one brite just as a little "testing".
So I got 1 brite polish which was : Blue Me Away by: Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear.
and for my dark tones I thought what a better way to use a true black than ManGlaze: Matte is Murder and Fuggen Ugly, and in the name of science and midnite polish hoarding these were the results.
( Base: ManGlaze: Matte is Murder ,  Top: Orchid: I Met Him in Prism )
( Base: SH Xtreme Wear: Blue Me Away ,  Top: ORCHID: I Met Him in Prism )
( Base: ManGlaze: Fuggen Uggly , Top: ORCHID: I Met Him in Prism )

Thank you for stopping by :D

Amerian Apparel : nail POLISH nail POLISH !

Ive been hunting American Apparel polishes for ever lol ! but I wanted to go personally and pick some out, near me theres no American Apparel so I had to wait for a little road trip lol.
So luckily couple of weeks ago I took off to SA for a 1 day vacay I've been blogging about my "haul" for the past week or so, it in parts because I think its better lol I feel its like personalized for one product rather than just rammble about a whole bunch  !

American Apparel nail polishes come in a large range of colors and they go at $6 a piece or 3 for $18 , actually I got a deal in the store located at La Cantera in San Antonio Tx. , they had 3 for $15 so I looked tru the colors they had avai. and GOD its was so hard they do carry some pretty nice colors and some btw are pretty unique, they all seemed to have a "cream" finish to them but online they do carry the "Metallics" which do have some shimmer to it.

My 3 picks were "PINK LADIES", "DYNASTY", "LOPEZ CANYON". ( names match bottles )
The camera did turnedUP the color on the polishes just a bit, I have not used ANY lol ! so I dont know how opaque they are or how sheer , coats and all that good stuff :D. So if you have any recommendations as far as what to use as basecoat on there guys or coats ..etc please let me know in the comments below.
One thin I noticed is the bottle I just think its pretty nice in shape and width you can store them easily than the "typical" round, cylinder-kinda bottle. So if you guys have any comments on this brand of polishes I would love to know so Il have a foundation on what expect or look for. As far as for now I can see that its not a "cheap" looking product , it actually looks pretty good :D
The vibe in the store is pretty nice and trendy DEFF. a store you gotta check out :D

THANX 4 READING !! HAVE A NICE DAY !

I MET PEARL !!! "GIRL MEETS PEARL" BY BENEFIT

I was terrified of wearing any highlight or anything that give shininess to my face, but I hadnt realize that theres an  ocean of difference between "glow" and "grease" , this product is as well from my "vacay" series. The benefit sales gal , was amazing and so helpfull, so she asked me if I was using a highlight and my face was like -.- no ma'm I dont because I would look like a glowstick lol ! she laugh so hard and was no you wont let me show you. I was like "ok" but still thinking in my head " omg I know my skin its not going to look rite". She asked if I had seen or used or tested " Girl Meets Pear " I told I had seen it but never actually put it in my face.
So she kept going and on with her demo, using a foundation brush ( the flat one )
she applied some on my temples and on the top portion of my cheek bone on the bridge of my nose etc. she even went a little crazy and I think she put some all over lol !
She showed the finished result and voila !!! I looked amazing and literally said WHOA ! lol !
I did not look shiny, neither dewy or however you spell it , I just had a glow that looked so natural an amazing !! so I got it.
Packaging amazing so BENEFIT style !!
This is the product , glue stick kinda container , you twist and product comes out, CAREFUL a bit goes a long way, so dont get excited twisting :p

This product get an A+ totally for oily skin, eventhou its not specifically made for it, it works just fine, it does not make you like like a glowing stick , litebulb or else ! you look amazing with a healthy look, super natural ahhghgh jaw droppin, mouth drowling ! lol !

SOMEONE CALL A DR. !!!! OK DR. FEEL GOOD IS HERE !

  • OILY SKIN- CHECK
  • PROBLEM SKIN- CHECK
  • HAVE TO RETOUCH MAKEUP- CHECK
  • SENSITIVE SKIN- CHECK
  • HATES TO LOOK LIKE A LIGHTBULB- CHECK
OK girls since pretty much I land on the I HATE A SHINNY face pattern
and I fit pretty well , Im always on the lookout for new mattifying products,
I found my DREAM COME TRUE setting powder which is Laura Mercier
shine control pressed powder. Ok BUT  now how would I retouch with out packing my face with 20 pounds of powder a day I mean I could because afterall the Laura Mercier powder performs that job to the max, but I dont like to be caking powder over over over IDK I feel its not sanitary, I always carry around the Clean and Clear blotting sheets which work perfect but theyre not quite there, I heard about the MALLY face defender buuuuuuuut I honestly IDK theres was just something that did not attract me to the brand and there were very very few reviews on it.

I love BENEFIT COSMETICS ! I adore from the cute suuper original packaging to the products itself, yes it is expensive BUT then again you need to look at the overall purchase from the Benefit Boutiques to the boxes and the website everything overall has a lot of <3 and passion put into it.
So yesterday on my trip I decided to get my eyebrows done at the Benefit Brow Bar and OMG let me tell you ! I LOVED IT !! you so so so gotta go if you have one near you its so so so different from regular salons really !!

Ok off the rammble back to the review, lol ! I was playing around with the products and I had seen the DR. FEEL GOOD a mattiying balm in a solid form, not ur typical powder ,but I was honestly scared that I was going to look shinny and blah blah blah ! so I tried on my face and got my brows done and walked around and went to the other mall , usually my skin reacts to a product within 2-3 hrs I honestly dont have to wait to see if  product works or not , I usually break out in a snap !

As you can see its not blue, minty over all a TRUE translucent mattifying product, so it suits perfectly to a 100%any skin color and type.  Packaging its amazing and super high-quality and fun, its a metal tin with the old school print to it, super fun and girly.
I would use it to set my foundation but I will never ever use any other retouching , mattifyng product for a while !!! I give it a 4 thumbs up lol !! feet count as well

SEPHORA MICRO HAUL

Ok girlies so I have oily skin, and as you may or may not know its a pain in the bootey ! to keep your makeup looking FAV. and in tip-top shape , so not alone I have oily skin , its really sensitive as well , I have tried Clinique pressed powder ( broke me out ) , Sephora brand ( broke me out ) , Lancome ( broke me out ) and dont get me wrong the quality on all those products its AMAZING its just that they dont work it out with my face thats it.
The last powder I was using was Neutrogena clear skin or something like that powder its not omg just came out today but its recent. WOW that thing killed my face , and I had hear so many good comments about it that I kept using fooling myself with the so awful lie " it gets worst b4 it gets better " thats a TOTAL LIE ! if it works it works period !
Well I did all my research and was brought down to 2 products, one was
MAKEUP FOREVER HD SETTING POWDER
I did use it but I hated it , maybe Im not a loose powder kinda gal but I had to return it , and you know it takes real hate to go and return something.

The quality was not bad just average , I typical CASPER white powder and I did not enjoy the look it had on my face.
this is a tiny swatch on my hand it looks ghostly ! lol !

My product #2 was Laura Mercier translucent shine control pressed powder
This stuff is soo good and it sticks true to the words on the packaging, its translucent BUT of course like any translucent powder if you over apply it you will end up looking like Caspers momma.
I love that fact that my face stays shine free, its amazing !
perfect for setting liquid foundation and for touchups
The packaging is really Laure Mercier like, pretty classy.
These were my freebies they were the body shop vitamin E moisture cream.

I hope that this helps you in case youre on the lookout for a setting powder.

GR8 LASH !!! BY: MAYBELINE ( BIG LASH ) AND ( GR8 LASH REGULAR FORMULA )

WHO WOULDNT LIKE GR8 LASHES !!??
** before anything SORRY for the closeup eye picture ahahaha itss too too funny !!
This product was purchased by me, in my local Target :D .. price ranges from 3.99 to 5.00 something

The formula for Maybeline Gr8 Lashes is kinda runny and suuuper liquid , its kinda hard to get used to it but in the other hand its a gr8 mascara it just takes a little time to get used to it, I feel it get lashes to stuck to one another but you can always get a toothpick and SUUUPER CAREFULLY separate each lash, the finished product will be amazing.

this was the result of their new BIG lash mascara which the brush its BIG compared to the regular brush in the classic formula.
this is the result of the classic formula, I honestly like the result on this one better I feel that the BIG just makes it look like you have more lashes not bigger, and the regular formula really extends the lash a lot.
